The SBT Micro-Chip System is a state of the art security service designed to protect your Surfboards, Skateboards, SUPS, Wake Boards, Kite Boards, and Windsurfing Boards against theft. SBT protects your boards at home, overseas, in your car, shed, garage, at the airport, and wherever you ride.
Manufacturers already use the system, whereby they can build a complete online log of everything they produce, detailing makes, model, composites, dimensions, technical data and fin data so when you buy a board you will know the board’s exact specifications.
SBT have now released a Retro-Fit System, the kit comes with all you need to fit this system to your board, well except for a drill and a drill bit! Once you have drilled a small hole in your board you insert the chip with the supplied applicator and reseal the hole. Apply the non-removable sticker, register your details on the SBT website and you're done.
You could even get one fitted while you are having that ding repaired!
